God Speaks To Men Continued

If you are not speaking to the Lord and hearing from Him you are missing the greatest blessings any person can have on this side of Heaven. If you are not communicating with God and hearing from Him, the problem is always on your end. The differences between unbelievers and unbelievers are abundantly clear in this regard. Unbelievers do not want to hear from God or speak to Him and so they do neither. Believers ought to desire both to hear from God and speak to Him. Sin breaks our fellowship with God and will keep us from speaking to God and from hearing from Him.

Isaiah 59:2: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Jeremiah 29:19: Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.

Unwillingness to hear from God is one of the most damning and destructive sins we can commit. The road block is always on our end.

Psalms 19:1: The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Psalms 50:6: And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

Exodus 4:12: Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Isaiah 50:4: The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

2 Samuel 23:2: The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.

Jeremiah 1:9: Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Matthew 10:19: But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Acts 1:16: Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 3:18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 6:10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

1 Peter 1:10: Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

2 Peter 1:21: For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
